Perfection

There is this idea of perfection that we all have been brain washed to believe is an unrealistic place we can reach. But, in my research of the soul and of inner peace I have discovered that we indeed, can reach perfection. We reach it in our own and individual way, and in order to reach this perfection, we have to redefine what it means to us. Each "flaw" can be considered perfect because it identifies us to who we are as individuals. Think about this; if you didn't have the "flaws" you have, would you be the same person You are? If we all walked around with no flaws, looking and acting to societies standard of perfection, we would all look and act the same... being unique, being our own person, being an individual, all these things would fade away. It is important for growth and for becoming who we are to experience "less than perfect" times of our lives. And the key to overcoming these times is to simply embrace and accept these moments as stepping stones to becoming WHO WE ARE MEANT TO BE. To me perfection means being who I am meant to be. So all of the flaws and all of the not so great times that I have gone through, have developed me into the person I am today, how much more perfect can that be... going through hard times or struggling with ourselves brings us closer and closer to our genuine happiness and that in itself is PERFECTION.

Focus today on accepting yourself as perfect as you already are. Embrace the things you usually struggle with about yourself and know, KNOW, that this is apart of your growth as a human being and growing is perfection. YOU are perfect just the way you are. KNOW this, without question. Keep this quote I have posted above near your heart and re-read it when necessary.
