Cleanse

My body is letting me know that it is in need of a bit of a cleanse. I started a raw food cleanse as of Saturday. Eating as much as I want and need, but strictly raw foods! I have been bulking a bit to gain some leg and glute muscles to proportion my body out. Bulking for the lower half of my body is fun because I eat a lot more bread and carbs, but it is not so easy on the abs. So now, I am working to tighten my tummy. Raw diet, here I come! I will keep you posted on how this goes! I have done it before, and I always feel best when I am eating this way. To keep my protein intake high enough, I will be soaking dried quinoa and beans and sprouting them! I love the taste of sprouted food!

Sometimes when you are working on changing the shape of your body, as well as changing your eating habits- you have to do it by trial and error. For the most part I now know what my body responds well to, and what it doesn't. Included in my lifestyle- I don't drink much if at all. I will have organic wine a time or two, but with my raw diet- no wine. I love the feeling of having a clear mind and never being hungover. I also notice a lot less stress and anxiety occur when I am sober all of the time.

If you are someone who struggles with anxiety- try three weeks of raw dieting and no booze. Eat as much raw food as you can handle- so you won't be starving yourself. But I can guarentee you, your head will clear, your skin will clear, you'll drop weight, and you'll be a much less stressed version of yourself. TRY IT. What do you have to lose?
