Staying on track

Today, two people who I believe I have lived past lives with, were married. I was extremely blessed to be apart of this magical day, I was able to spend my day on the beach and with loved ones feeling all of the vibes that came from this beautiful couple.

Of course along with travel and events, it is common to fall off track with eating and workout habits. A few tips for how to stay on track:

Pack your running shoes with you, when you see the shoes in your bag it is a reminder that you need to get a workout it.

Make plans with friends to go on a hike or adventure that will allow you to get a sweat in.

Grocery shopping is key, having some veggies on hand to whip up salads prior to going anywhere helps nourish our bodies and keeps us from feeling famished and grabbing unhealthy choices.

At events, chose the veggies and the salads instead of the big and heavy meal options (now days there are usually salad options anywhere you go).

Make a goal at the beginning of the vacation not to fall off of your current goals, "I am not going to gain any weight on this trip." "I am going to get into better shape while on this trip." Etc. Setting these goals will remind you to keep up with the healthy lifestyle while on the road.

Pack healthy snacks in your carry on bag for snacking at the airport and on the plane. This will ensure you don't stop at a fast food stop, this also will save you from the outrageous prices of airport food.

Say no to unhealthy habits, if you are always on point with being healthy at home, it shouldn't be hard to say no to unhealthy while on vacation. If you have a plan to splurge a day or two, then do it and accept yourself for doing it, and workout a bit harder on those days, but if you want to be disciplined, learn how to simply say no.
