Freedom

Everyone's definition of freedom is different depending on each life situation. To me, freedom is the ability to do and go where I please without being tied down to a person, place, or job. In the last 8 years of my working life I have been tied down to a schedule, for work, for school. During this time I have had a BLAST learning, growing and figuring out who I want to be and what gifts I have. I have also met A TON of people who have influenced my life and my goals greatly. I don't regret or take for granted any of the time spent working under other people to build a life and follow my long term dreams. I have been happy and worked hard to adjust to whatever situation I get myself into.

A big intention I have been setting for a couple years now, while manifesting, meditating, doing yoga; has been direction. What direction do I need to go in to achieve this ultimate goal of freedom? How can I continue to afford life while creating my own schedule. I've known for a while that being an entrepreneur is my goal. In some ways I have already achieved that goal by setting up my life to become more flexible and free. But, more and more the universe is pulling me in a direction of my very own and I am extremely excited to see what is coming. Everything happens at perfect timing, I am in the right place at the perfect time and so are all of you. I can become impatient and hard on myself when I feel as if I am not in the right place, but I am constantly reminded by the Universe to TRUST THE PROCESS. I have many projects and ideas that I am working on constantly and I can't wait to bring them to the surface- and my readers will be the first to know. My dad sent me a quote this morning to keep my motivation high;

"One brick at a time, short cuts end up with paper or stick houses that the big bad wolf can blow down."

Although I want to and will be my own boss someday- very soon, until then I am taking the lessons I am learning about business and people to heart and using them to improve my plans for my own business. I am like a sponge absorbing all the knowledge given to me on a daily basis and it is building a strong foundation for the BOSS LADY I am and will continue to become. I know that many of us feel as if we are chipping away for someone else when we work for a company- but remember all of the positive and influential lessons we are learning from experience in these areas. The best authors of the best books I read always started somewhere- learning, growing, and figuring out where they belong in this world. It is okay to be on that path, whatever path we are on, is the best path.

xox happy weekend friends.
